Our Core Values aren't just corporate buzz words, they are strict requirements for any researcher who wishes to join our network.
We Put Security Over Profit
At Ars0n Security, we firmly believe that if you "do what you love, the money will come." Our researchers have a passionate hatred for hackers, scammers, and cyber criminals who think it's okay to take advantage of honest, hard working people. So, while we do want to be compensated fairly for our time and effort, we never want to let a lack of budget to result in someone being victimized.
We Value Hard Work
While many people in today's society are shying away from hard work, our researchers tend to take a more "David Goggins" approach. We don't just face difficult challenges that present themselves, we seek them out.
We Will Not Be Deterred
Once our researchers have identified a difficult challenge, they're like a dog with a bone. Their insatiable curiosity, as well as their unrelenting need to be the best, makes the concept of quitting unacceptable. Instead, we find creative solutions where there may seem to be none.
We Play to Win
Many of the researchers on our team playfully refer to their job as the "best video game ever". While that might make some worry that we do not take our job seriously, I can assure you the opposite is true. We approach every engagement like Michael Jordan in game 7 of the finals, and while we've never met "His Airness" in person, I'm confident we share his hatred for losing. That need to win drives our team to do whatever it takes to secure our customers!

About Our Company
What is Ars0n Security?
Ars0n Security operates using a business model that prioritizes the self-actualization of its employees over growing profits.
While that might sound very modern and progressive, the truth is it's the same business model used by a small town contractor or tradesman working to build a great life for their family and be their own boss. The only difference being we are providing cybersecurity services instead of pluming or landscaping.
We have no interest in scaling this into a billion dollar company. We just want to make a decent living, doing what we love and working for ourselves.
Who are Ars0n Security's Researchers/Consultants?
Depending on the size and scope of your attack surface, you may be assigned one or multiple researchers to conduct the test. All penetration tests and consulting servicers are led by me, the founder of Ars0n Security, Harrison Richardson.
I know this is the only one written in first-person, but it felt really gross to write "Our founder, " along with my name, so here we are...
If additional researchers are needed to complete a service for any reason, experienced professionals listed in our Network of Researchers will be contacted based on their experience, education, certifications, and technical skillsets.
Everyone listed in our Network of Researchers has been thoroughly vetted to ensure they not only have the technical skills and experience required to perform the highest quality penetration testing services, but also a long history of demonstrated integrity and good moral judgement.
More specifically, researchers in our network have achieved a high degree of success in two of the following three areas:
- Education
- Certifications
- Experience
In addition to these criteria, our researchers also have exceptional levels of creativity and curiosity, the hallmarks of any great security engineer.
How can I join Ars0n Security's Network of Researchers?
Ars0n Security's Network of Researchers is managed by a decentralized algorithm that uses blockchain to replace a traditional management structure. Instead of people making decisions for the company, a voting system is implemented to regulate the addition and removal of researchers to the network.
The voting algorithm, which is controlled using Pull Requests through a GitHub repository, is intentionally skewed. Adding new members is increasingly challenging as the network grows while removing researchers is increasingly easy. This helps ensure the network remains small with a high degree of talent density.
The network itself is comprised of other small LLC's and independent contractors that have worked together throughout their career.
