About Our Researchers

As much as we enjoy the fun "Hacker" culture in the cybersecurity industry, we also understand that trust and transparency are essential to our business.

That's why we like to put a face, name, and most importantly credentials/experience to the researchers on our team. We like to have fun, but we also want you to know exactly who you are entrusting with your most sensitive data.

Take a few minutes to meet our team...

We ask each of our researchers to provide us with a brief synopsis of their experience in the cybersecurity industry, as well as any personal information about themselves that they would like to share with our clients. Before the start of any engagement, you will receive information about the researchers conducting your security testing.

However, for our core group of researchers and consultants, I've decided to provide a more thorough biography of their background. And, in an effort to lead from the front, I'll start with myself.

Harrison Richardson (rs0n)

CISSP | OSWE | MSc cybersecurity

Harrison began his cybersecurity career when he enlisted in the US Army in 2013.

After leaving the service due to medical retirement, he immediately used his GI Bill to earn both a bachelor's and master's degree in Cybersecurity.

While attending school full time, Harrison began working with companies contracted by the Department of Defense to help build their security programs, implement technical security controls, and verify/implement NIST 800-53 controls for DISA audits.

In 2018, he began participating in public bug bounty programs on the platforms BugCrowd and HackerOne. Harrison also works as a researcher for the Synack Red Team, a group of skilled security professionals and ethical hackers who collaborate to identify vulnerabilities, conduct security assessments, and enhance the cybersecurity posture of organizations by simulating real-world cyberattacks.

For the majority of his civilian career, Harrison has worked for SaaS companies that are moving through IPO, including the well-known cybersecurity firm Rapid7.
